THE STORY OF A LIST OF MOVIE TAG LINE CLICHÉS

While I was trawling the web for my recently posted top 10 movie tag lines I came across a great article from Amorphous Blog. In it they created a formula to determine what the most clichéd movie taglines are. Here's how they went about it.

We analysed 104,925 movie tag lines to uncover the biggest clichés. We took the most popular first words (the, a, it’s), then looked for the most common three words after these (the story, the most, the greatest, etc.), and then the three most common words after these initial two.

After compiling all this data this graph was produced.

According to them the most cliched tag line is for Mister Buddwing. 
“The story of a man who had to live twelve years in one day with four women!”

Movie tag lines are the promo lines of print media, so this chart is good to keep in mind when devising your promo copy.
Thats not to say your line wouldn't work, just that your audience would have heard it many times before.
